Kalo asaya sih bukan masalah di bandwith lokalnya, tapi lebih penting berapa sih bandwith internasional yg disalurkan ke adsl, bahkan macem speedy. Bisa saja kita konek ke IIX sangat kencang, tapi begitu buka yahoo jadi sangat pelan.. setelah restart dan login
windowsnya tetep muncul gak bisa bypass langsung ke
windows-nya.

Pro : Wiempy Trims atas masukannya. Trus gimana kalo Notebook yang LAN card-nya onboard? Sedangkan user itu masih pake Lan cardnya tapi Cuma minta dibypass utk internetnya aja tanpa masuk ke Network Local? Ada beberapa notebook yang saya bikin gitu dan bisa pake internet. David IT Admin PT. Catur Gatra Eka Perkasa Jakarta Pusat 10750 Wpy: Cara yg paling mudah, km remove aja LAN Card yg ada di device manager Windows. Tinggal klik kanan nama LAN Card tsb, lalu pilih uninstall. Lalu setelah itu, km cabut LAN Card tsb dari slot PCI (itu klo LAN Card-nya bukan onboard). Nanti pasti akan bisa login tanpa ada menu masukin username dan password. Atau km masuk ke Network Connections, lalu klik kanan LAN Card tsb, lalu pilih Disable. Klo udah disable, harusnya gak ada menu untuk login dan masuk ke domain lagi. Tapi jgn lupa, setelah LAN Card tsb didisable, ganti member komp tsb dari domain ke workgroup. Pasti komp tsb akan bisa langsung masuk ke Windows tanpa harus masukin username dan password. Saya ini orang teknik (IT), kok ditawari jabatan Staf Manajemen Konsultan, di pialang saham lagi. Kan nggak nyambung banget. Inilah antara lain komplain yang saya temukan. Ada info dari milis tetangga , salah 1 pelamar mengaku tertipu karena dananya sebanyak 1 juta rupiah dipinjam oleh managernya dan tidak pernah dibayar, manager ini menghilang sementara handphonenya yang dihubungi selalu tidak aktif. Setahu saya sich dan sudah saya praktekkan di notebook NEC di kantor saya yg memakai Win XP Home Edition, dgn memakai Workgroup saja seharusnya bisa memakai internet tanpa harus join ke domain (Win XP Home Edition gak bisa join ke domain). Notebook tsb saya pasang Linksys Wireless Notebook Adapter. Saya set di bagian TCP/IP Wireless tsb di Network Connection IP Address Router Internet dan juga diset DNS-nya. Access Point yg saya pakai connect ke domain Win NT. Itu klo pake wireless, klo pake kabel RJ-45, bisa saja dipakai hanya untuk akses internet saja tanpa perlu join domain. Cukup dijadikan Workgroup saja dan di Ethernet Properties-nya di bagian TCP/IP dimasukin IP Address modem router internet dan DNS ISP yg anda pakai. Pasti bisa dipakai untuk internet saja tanpa perlu masukin username dan password (form login Windows untuk join domain). Tinggal klik kanan nama LAN Card tsb, lalu pilih uninstall. Lalu setelah itu, km cabut LAN Card tsb dari slot PCI (itu klo LAN Card-nya bukan onboard). Nanti pasti akan bisa login tanpa ada menu masukin username dan password. Atau km masuk ke Network Connections, lalu klik kanan LAN Card tsb, lalu pilih Disable. Klo udah disable, harusnya gak ada menu untuk login dan masuk ke domain lagi. Tapi jgn lupa, setelah LAN Card tsb didisable, ganti member komp tsb dari domain ke workgroup. Pasti komp tsb akan bisa langsung masuk ke Windows tanpa harus masukin username dan password. Coba scan dengan antivirus yang up-to-date atau meminta bantuan pihak ke tiga yang mengerti mengenai virus dan antivirus. Jika sebelumnya virus lokal hanya mampu menyebar melalui media UFD / Disket, Rontokbro dan Mybro merupakan salah satu pelopor yang mencoba menyebar melalui email dan kemudian bermunculan berbagai virus yang mulai bermain dengan SMTP yakni menyebar melalui email salah satunya adalah virus W32/Emmareg. A Virus ini mempunyai ukuran 42 KB, untuk mempermudah penyebarannya virus ini akan menggunakan icon Folder. Dengan up-date terakhir Norman sudah dapat mengenali virus ini dengan baik. ADSL ada dinegara-negara EU masih pakai saluran-saluran Telepon yang sudah ada dari dulunya terbilang lama dari jenis tembaga, tidak kalah kapasitasnya dibandingkan dengan fiber optis. Kalau masih dalam jarak 3 Km dari telepon stasiun, ADSL masih baik diterima kepada para pelanggannya/konsumennya. ADSL dari catatan system tekniknya memiliki kapasitas dimulai 2 Mb. Tapi apakah itu akan menjamin koneksi ke internet misal ternyata servernya masih menggunakan dial up menjadi lebih cepat. - Kemungkinan besar adalah karena Antivirus yang aktif Pak. Jadi ada 2 hal yang dia lakukan : 1. Menscan apapun yang kita buka.Setting lagi Antivirusnya. 2. Kalau pertama Laptop dinyalakan dia akan otomatis scan, meskipun tidak terlihat.Lihat lagi setting Antivirusnya. Untuk membuktikanya, di pojok kanan bawah klik kanan di icon Antivirusnya. Pasti ada pilihan untuk mematikan atau mendisable proses scan yang berlangsung. Saya pernah alamai hal seperti ini dengan Laptop Client user di kantor. [ITCENTER] Masalah di LCD Acer AL512, ada yang bisa bantu ?
Di kantor kita pakai LCD Merk Acer dan Samsung. Ada beberapa masalah dengan LCD Merk Acer, Type AL512 Masalah yang sering timbul adalah di layar sering muncul warning seolah-olah kita menggunakan resolusi tinggi yang tidak diinginkan. Jika ingin disable tekan Tombol 2 di body LCD. Tetapi sudah ditekan berkali-kali tetap muncul. Ini sangat mengganggu sekali ketika user sedang bekerja. Saat komputer dinyalakan baru tampil BIOSnya saja susah muncul seperti itu. Tadinya saya pikir ada masalah dengan VGAN Cradnya, sudah saya ganti VGA ternyata masih masalah juga. Saya ganti pakai LCD yang lain tidak masalah. Jadi kesimpulanya memang masalah di LCd Acernya. Ada yang bisa bantu ? Apakah memang harus saya bawa ke Acer untuk di servce ? Mas Steph, Apa sudah menurunkan Refresh Frequency untuk monitornya. Kalau di tempat saya refresh frequency yang dibolehkan hanya sekitar 75 Hertz. Kalau lebih dari itu tidak bisa. Monitor LCD merk Philips punya saya di kantor juga hanya mengijinkan untuk merubah Screen Refresh Rate sampe 75 Hertz saja, lebih dari itu gak bisa dan tdk ada pilihannya. Oh iya saya pakai Monitor LCD yg 15 inci. Klo monitor CRT Philips Semi-Flat merk Philips yg dipake di komp client max. Screen Refresh Rate bisa mencapai 85 Hertz dan hampir semua komp dgn monitor CRT Philips tsb saya set dgn Refresh Rate 85 Hertz. Ada juga yg beberapa saya set cuma 75 Hertz. Klo mau mata nyaman, coba gunakan kamera digital atau camera HP dan arahkan ke arah monitor CRT atau LCD tsb. Klo hasilnya gak ada garis2 yg naik turun di Refresh Rate 75 Hertz misalnya, berarti dgn Refresh Rate tsb bikin mata nyaman dan gak cepat lelah. Atau diambil saja yg garis2nya yg paling sedikit yg muncul di layar HP atau di display kamera digital. Hal ini mempengaruhi tingkat kenyamanan mata kita. Dicoba saja dulu memakai Refresh Rate mulai dari 60 Hertz sampe 85 Hertz, dan lihat hasilnya di layar HP dan display kamera digital. Klo gak ada satu garispun yg naik turun atau cuma ada sedikit saja garis2 yg naik turun, berarti dgn Refresh Rate tsb mata kita akan nyaman dan gak cepat lelah ketika seharian penuh berada di depan komp. Monitor LCD merk Philips punya saya di kantor juga hanya mengijinkan untuk merubah Screen Refresh Rate sampe 75 Hertz saja, lebih dari itu gak bisa dan tdk ada pilihannya. Oh iya saya pakai Monitor LCD yg 15 inci. Klo monitor CRT Philips Semi-Flat merk Philips yg dipake di komp client max. Screen Refresh Rate bisa mencapai 85 Hertz dan hampir semua komp dgn monitor CRT Philips tsb saya set dgn Refresh Rate 85 Hertz. Ada juga yg beberapa saya set cuma 75 Hertz. = LCD memang refresh rate-nya cuman 60 Hz koq... Beberapa dukung 75 Hz... yang terbaru sudah 120 Hz (lebih untuk LCD di TV). Anyway, refresh di LCD itu tidak (terlalu) ngaruh... lebih penting pixel response-nya. Klo mau mata nyaman, coba gunakan kamera digital atau camera HP dan arahkan ke arah monitor CRT atau LCD tsb. Klo hasilnya gak ada garis2 yg naik turun di Refresh Rate 75 Hertz misalnya, berarti dgn Refresh Rate tsb bikin mata nyaman dan gak cepat lelah. Atau diambil saja yg garis2nya yg paling sedikit yg muncul di layar HP atau di display kamera digital. Hal ini mempengaruhi tingkat kenyamanan mata kita. Dicoba saja dulu memakai Refresh Rate mulai dari 60 Hertz sampe 85 Hertz, dan lihat hasilnya di layar HP dan display kamera digital. Klo gak ada satu garispun yg naik turun atau cuma ada sedikit saja garis2 yg naik turun, berarti dgn Refresh Rate tsb mata kita akan nyaman dan gak cepat lelah ketika seharian penuh berada di depan komp. = Tergantung settingan f dari kamera-nya Mas Wiempy. Mau CRT 100 Hz juga kalo settingannya ngaco tetep bisa dibikin bergaris koq saat difoto hehehe...
