Re: CSpiezo electric gas lighter

2006-06-01 Thread V
Hi Acmeair,

I have made one of those. Its quite simple depending on the style of the
particular lighter. if you get ones in the dollor store its cheap to
experliment. I jsut break of the long tube and there is a wire inside it and
that is where the chrage comes out. the tube was the ground for it so if you
can cut theu tube real short and have the wire stick out then tha is one way to
do it.

Take care,
 V
http://www.health-freedom.info/

some time back, during the early days of brown recluse spider bites,
someone mentioned re-configuring a piezo electric barbeque lighter to
act like a stun gun, the purpose of which to zap insect/spider bites.
does anyone have the info on this conversion

health problem after health problem all my life. I have recently been
diagnosed with fibromyalgia. Even more recently I have had endoscopy
procedures done and they found esophageal ulcers and Microscopic colitis.
What is a particular concern of mine right now is the worry that my use of
ibruprofen has caused my colitis. My fibromyalgia causes such horrible,
unbearable pain and ibuprofen is the only thing that works.
Marshalee brought me to this group and has me started on silver. Thanks
Marshalee! What a sweet woman. So I have been taking silver for almost a
week now and I hope so badly that this helps me. If anyone has any
suggestions I would love to hear them. I am on Celexa, Trazadone, and
Bupropion for Fibromyalgia/depression, and I have Prevacid for my ulcers.
I just feel like I'm way too young to feel this bad, and I worry what that
means about the rest of my life. I have two little girls, Catherine is 3

Re: CSShannon FMS etc

2006-06-01 Thread Rowena
Shannon, there are a couple of things it might be worth you researching and
trying.
One is coconut oil, virgin not the hydrogenated product on grocery shelves.
Another is plain old salt - well, good salt, celtic or sea or macrobiotic
or Himalayan or some such mineral-rich variety, not the ordinary table salt
which is just sodium chloride stripped of its minerals. Have a pinch
several times a day with water and look up the salt and Vit C therapy some
time.
You will then have three things healing and dealing with germs, worms and
other unwelcome visitors.

I wish you all the best and speedy improvement. You have a lot on your
plate. Sorry you are under such stress and trying to care for your little
ones as well. Hope to hear that things look up for you soon.

Re: CSI'm New!

2006-06-01 Thread MATTHEW ARNOLD
There's a lot of good information in these emails. I don't want to get off
my one antidepressant I've been taking for awhile. It makes a world of
difference in my life. Once I ran out on a weekend when I couldn't get to
my pharmacy, and I missed 2 doses. Someone said something to me that was
the teeniest bit offensive and I started crying. Then I couldn't stop
crying and I cried so hard and so long that I had an upset stomach and a
migraine. I was sitting on the bathroom floor throwing up with company
over. I had to go to the emergency room and get a shot. I will never go
through that again. It reminded me of what my life was like before Celexa.
When I don't have Celexa, my world falls apart. If I didn't have Celexa, I
would be divorced and my poor little girls would be traumatized. A doctor
did not tell me about Celexa. I had several friends that swore by it, so I
asked the Doctor for a prescription. I stopped freaking out at my husband
and getting mad at him, I'm much more laid back. I don't have any side
effects that I am aware of, well at least, no undesireable side effects :).
All my health problems came before I was on Celexa, nothing has really
changed otherwise. I was told that Silver would cure fibromyalgia, and that
those that had fibromyalgia and had taken silver would vouch for that. I
will look into the other things though.

I just received a report from some good friends that they have been
suffering with MRSA. First the mom got it - thought it was a spider
bite, then the older child then the younger child and now dad. I asked
if it was actually diagnosed, and they say it was. They only just now
called me because the dad does not have insurance. I wish they had
called me sooner. I gave them what I had on hand that I make - approx
1/2 gal - and a tube of Tetrasil. I told them to drink 2 oz every 2 - 4
hours with gatorade. How does that sound for dosing? At that rate they
will go through what I gave them fast.

So what is up with MRSA? I never heard of it being passed to each
family member like that, though I know it is found in many places and
not so uncommon in hospitals and nursing homes. Does anyone have direct
or more scientific knowledge? I am curious and cautious. We have a new
baby in the house and wonder how infectious it really is - plus I would
like to assist my stressed friends.

Okay, Shannon! I'd say you'd put weaning yourself from the Celexa lower
down on your list as you address your other issues with nutrition,
cleansing, and supplements, first! grin

Don't do anything with your meds without careful study and at least
warning your physician that you want to experiment. You'll have to get
used to telling him/her what you want to do and being persistent until
you get what you want. If they don't want to cooperate, fire them and
get another that will.

Best of luck, and I hope you'll give us regular updates as you learn

Also, do a search on lyme disease. These are two illnesses that can sometimes
cause symptoms similar to yours. If you have any questions, please feel free to
email me. I have had alot of experince with both.
Does anyone have any information on the health benefits and or safety of
silver protein IVs? Two of my friends are recieving these from different health
care practioners and I am concerned. They are also but dont seem to get answers
that give them confidence in this method of treatments.
Also, has anyone on this forum heard about a product called silver formula
oral/topical? Again, we are talking about a silver protein product with msm. It
is put out by vitamin research who I have found to be very reputable. Thanks

Re: CSOzone

2006-06-01 Thread M. G. Devour
Why are we so concerned about ozone in the environment
and yet people are making it with home machines?

Ozone as a component of photochemical smog, produces the irritation
that everybody talks about as it combines with the raunchy soup of
chemicals in the air to produce who knows what.

If I remember correctly, when ozone is made by a plasma in room air the
water vapor in the air combines with the nitrogen to produce traces of
nitric acid vapor, which also causes irritation. Air purifiers that are
designed to generate ozone need to limit the amount they produce to
safe levels for this reason.

Ozone made with pure dry oxygen in a medical ozone generator, is safe
and very useful, so I hear, if you know what you're doing with it.

It's a subject that is well worth studying in greater depth. The
negative generalities you get from the authorities either ignore or
purposely mis-state the conditions that cause irritation.

Be well,

CS

2006-06-01 Thread sol
Well, as I said, I've taken my own homemade CS for almost 4 years and
still have fibromyalgia. I think if my symptoms were due to Lyme disease
or MS, as some people have found, I would have seen some improvement, as
I have taken up to a quart of CS a day, and did that for about 2.5
years. The reports I've seen on the silverlist all seem to indicate that
if I had either of those conditions I would have seen at least some
improvement from that much ingested silver over that long a time. Not
perhaps a cure, but some improvement. In fact I had NO improvement in my
major symptoms, except for my IBS (irritable bowel syndrome).

Many now think most fibromyalgia is genetic. And recent findings
published by the CDC have indeed found some genetic causes for Chronic
Fatigue. Dr. St. Amand says that in some 40 years of medical practice,
he has never seen a patient with Chronic Fatigue who did not have
Fibromyalgia so he believes they are the same condition.

Cleanses, and all the other things you have been recommended to try are
all very well, and may help, but if this really is a genetic problem,
they will certainly not cure it.

I don't think you should stop the Celexa. However, you may be interested
to know that many people who are on the Guaifenesin Protocol, have (over
years, not overnight) been able to reduce or stop such meds. For myself,
I do what I know works. For example, I have here Trazodone, Cymbalta,
Effexor, and even Chloral Hydrate. None worked, Cymbalta and Effexor had
horrible side effects for me, but I can tell you that if any of them had
worked, I'd be taking them!

Apparently Ozone in the higher layer of the atmosphere

How Ozone Pollution Works
by Craig C. Freudenrich, Ph.D

Effects of Ozone
When you inhale ozone, it travels throughout your
respiratory tract. Because ozone is very corrosive, it
damages the bronchioles and alveoli in your lungs, air
sacs that are important for gas exchange (see How Your
Lungs Work for details). Repeated exposure to ozone
can inflame lung tissues and cause respiratory
infections.

Ozone exposure can aggravate existing respiratory
conditions such as asthma, reduce your lung function
and capacity for exercise and cause chest pains and
coughing. Young children and the elderly are most
susceptible to the high levels of ozone encountered
during the summer.

In addition to effects on humans, the corrosive nature
of ozone can damage plants and trees. High levels of
ozone can destroy agricultural crops and forest
vegetation.

To get ozone poisoning it has to be in extremely high levels which home
units will not produce.
Your furnace during heating or even wooden stove produces more polution the
the ozone machine will ever come close too.

The home furnace produces enough hydrocarbons too seriously ill anyone who
doesn't have the proper filtration and flute installed. The domestic home is
a ces (spelling) pool for disease. staying in is what makes people sick not
the cold.

the option to use it or not. Most people who don't want ozone do so because
of the scare tactics of the FDA or health Canada as in my case. You pay a
little more for the added feature. I got mine up here in Toronto. I bought a
good 5 office units and a home unit so the guy gave me a awesome discount. I
still walked out paying around 800.00 for them. He assured me that the ozone
produced by the machines were enought to kill any odors from whatever might
be in the home but not enough to be a health concern. I'd have to look up
the make and model to let you know. I don't have that info on hand as I'm at

Hi Mike,
My generator is corona discharge, is used with Oxygen and is quite safe. Tis
true, as you say, the subject is well worth studying but one would have to look
to beyond America, to European or Russian studies because there is very little
available research in this country due to FDA and negative generalities. Like
Silver as an agent of healing, it's been condemned due to the paucity of
economic profit to be harvested by its denouncers.

Certainly, what one does generally find is info presented from a mfg or vendor
perspective. Reasonable doubt as to its effectiveness on the part of those
indoctrinated by agency propaganda and disinformation is very understandable.
again, not unlike C Silver and the bad press its been up against for years.
Some links worth perusing.

Medical ozone therapy is recognized in Bulgaria, Cuba, Czech Republic, French,
Germany, Israel, Italy, Mexico, Romania and Russia. It is currently used
legally in 16 Nations. At least 12 states in the USA ~ AK, AZ, CO, GA, MN, NY,
NC, OH, OK, OR, SC and WA, and FL have passed legislation to ensure that
alternative therapies are available to consumers. Physicians in those states
can legally use ozone as an alternative treatment in their practice without
fear of prosecution.

It's a subject that is well worth studying in greater depth. The

purposely mis-state the conditions that cause irritation.

Re: CSsuggestions for shannon and question aabout silver protein IV

2006-06-01 Thread G K Murray
I think zeb was talking about systenic Candida Albicans, not just
vaginal yeast. This is yeast in the digestive tract, ears, blood, etc.
I don't think one diflucan would be acire unless you have drastically
changed your eating habits as well. When fighting systemic yeast,
sugar must be eliminated in all forms. Fermented foods and all high
glycemic carbohydrates should be eliminated as well. it takes months
or even years to successful fight Candida. Most allopathic Doctors
think that systemic yeast is crap and wont even discuss it.

Shannon, I was wondering if you have ever been treated for candida
albicans? Also, do a search on lyme disease. These are two illnesses
that can sometimes cause symptoms similar to yours. If you have any
questions, please feel free to email me. I have had alot of experince
with both.
Does anyone have any information on the health benefits and or
safety of silver protein IVs? Two of my friends are recieving these
from different health care practioners and I am concerned. They are
also but dont seem to get answers that give them confidence in this
method of treatments.
Also, has anyone on this forum heard about a product called silver
formula oral/topical? Again, we are talking about a silver protein
product with msm. It is put out by vitamin research who I have found
to be very reputable. Thanks

Re: CSRe:fibromyalgia - 1 June

2006-06-01 Thread sol
No I have not tried it. It likely contains substances that block the
action of the guaifenesin I am taking. It has been discussed on a fibro
list I belong to though, and though one person at least has tried, she
could get enough information from the mfr. Depending on how the
glyconutrients are processed from the sources it might be ok to take
with guai or it might not, but they will not say what their process is.
It does contain, according to the mfr representative she dealt with
additional proprietary ingredients that they will not disclose at
all. My standard policy given that I have multiple allergies and
senstivities is to use no product a mfr will not give me complete
ingredient info for. It isn't worth the risk to me. And I am doing
enough better with the guaifenesin not to want to risk blocking it.

Thanks for the thought though.

Sol,

The protocol of 2 pills three times per day was established by the Eric

Have I understood what people are saying correctly? Why so much

Hi Everybody! My name is Shannon and I live in Utah. I am 26 and have
had
health problem after health problem all my life.

I
just feel like I'm way too young to feel this bad, and I worry what that
means about the rest of my life. I have two little girls, Catherine is 3
and Grace is nearly 1, I have to work full time and I am constantly behind

and discouraged. My depression is much better with Celexa, I can live
now!
Anyway, I'm glad to try this and hope it helps.

Sorry, I feel like I'm bombarding you, but I keep reading the replies to
you with suggestions for the depression. It is obvious people are
focusing on that and totally missing the PAIN. Geez, when I don't have
pain I have NO depression. This is why I almost never mention my own
fibromyalgia on this list, or to people in my life. They do not get
it. Nobody knows what this is like unless they have lived it.

The Doctor is a Naturopath. I am in the process of getting contact
