No, it is a humidifier really, but you can breathe the CS in and just let it
come into the air. I would like to make my own, but the cost of the
generator is nothing compared to the cost of a water distiller, then the PWT
to test the water etc., because the distilled water is not pure enough in
this country. My supplier makes her own and she has all sorts of problems
because of the quality of the water here. I really could not cope with all
that, so I just get mine from her. Dee

Dee- I'd like to encourage you to plunge in and get a generator and
start making your own. It's really easy. I even made some with some
silver wires and a solar cell that has alligator clips, which would be
useful in a real emergency when there was no electric power.

Does anyone here know about Bronchiectasis and if it would be safe to use

2008-05-16 Thread Faith Gagne
It is absolutely safe. This illness is exactly how I got introduced to CS.
Over a year ago an elderly friend of mine got bronchitis and had it for 2
months. She was very ill.. She knew the doctor could offer her nothing for
bronchitis and so she refused to see him. Meanwhile, an old friend of hers
called her to say hello, but she could hardly talk on the phone because of
the constant coughing and gasping for breath. He instructed her son go to
the health store and get some CS and to take two teaspoons a day. That is
exactly what she did and she was better in a week. (Only 2 teaspoons!)
I'll say that she was not completely healed because she continued to clear
her throat for awhile, but she has been taking cs regularly and is now long
healed from bronchitis. I'd say don't hesitate to get that guy some cs.

CScs and powdery mildew

2008-05-16 Thread jlgregel
Can anyone throw me some ideas of using cs around outdoor plants? We live in
Southwest Washington State. Many of my annuals and perinials end up with
powdery mildew mid to late season. I'm curious if cs might help prevent, and
if they should be watered with it or spritzed onto the plant.
I thought it might help kill the moss/mildew that has grown on the deck over
the winter, but so far no luck. Maybe as a preventative once the deck is
cleaned, and then sprayed to let cs dry.

That's right, Faith. Most of the water evaporates and leaves behind - stuff.
This water plus stuff is condensed now.
There is some water, and as much of the stuff as it will hold, rather than a
diluted form with stuff plus a lot of water.
If they evaporated any more water, the stuff would, I suppose, precipitate and
you would have powder or whatever.
But if they stop evaporating it when it is a saturated solution, you get as
much of the stuff as possible in as little of the water as is necessary to keep
it in solution.
It is only when it has had water evaporated off that it is condensed.
Like your tin of condensed milk, a lot of the water has dissapeared into thin
air and you are left with - stuff, thick runny stuff.

Hi Dee

I live in Scotland and I agree it's very difficult to get distilled water.
You can buy it on line (I googled it) but of course postage is costly due to
the weight. I bought an OdeV steam distiller on Ebay a while ago. Can't
remember the exact price but I think it was about £50 -£60 certainly no more
than that.

I couldn't afford a generator so I use the 9v battery method with some 99.9%
silver wire that I also bought online. It's quick, simple and easy to make.
I don't have a meter or anything to test it just a laser pen to check for
Tyndall effect but my son, my friends and myself have all had marvellous
results with it. And now I've got my nebuliser (Ebay again :-) there's no
stopping me.

Cheers

RE: CSBenefits of Magnesium Oil

2008-05-16 Thread Dan Nave
Just go down to your local Oriental store (or shop on-line) and look for
Nigari.

http://www.simply-natural.biz/Nigari.php

This is magnesium chloride derived from sea water which is used for
making Tofu. It costs under $2 per pound. Make a saturated solution by
mixing the Nigari in a small amount of water to the point where no more
Nigari will dissolve. Then just rub it anywhere on your body and let it
dry there. You could make it less concentrated, perhaps a ratio of 3
measures of Nigari to 1 measure of water. It is not critical. This is
very cheap and will last a very long time. Keep any unused crystals of
Nigari in a closed (sealed) container so it doesn't absorb moisture from
the air.

This is the same as Magnesium Oil except for the price.

CSMust Read if Planning Surgery

2008-05-16 Thread kmilkowski

[This was a special alert from Health Sciences Institute – Baltimore]

Dear Reader,

If you or anyone you know is planning to have surgery, you MUST READ this
urgent message…

Trasylol, a commonly used drug to control bleeding during surgery, has been
shown to contribute to widespread death. In fact, Trasylol, made by Bayer
Healthcare Pharmaceuticals, has been associated with as many as 1,000 DEATHS A
MONTH since it was introduced 14 years ago.

Apparently the FDA has known about the danger associated with Trasylol for two
years — yes, that’s two years at 1,000 deaths a month — but only now is doing
something about it. And, despite the research showing it kills people, they are
still allowing some “limited” use of Trasylol. (Don’t you wish you were
surprised?)

The worst part is that the patient is never consulted about using it. It's not
like a prescription that you can choose to fill or not. It's the doctor who
chooses which drugs to use during surgery. So if you or a loved one is
undergoing surgery, tell your doctor you don't want them using Trasylol and ask
what the other options are. Your life may depend on it.

To Your Good Health,

Jenny Thompson

P.S. If you know anyone who may be planning surgery, please be sure they get
this urgent warning.

That's right, Faith. Most of the water evaporates and leaves behind - stuff.
This water plus stuff is condensed now.
There is some water, and as much of the stuff as it will hold, rather than a
diluted form with stuff plus a lot of water.
If they evaporated any more water, the stuff would, I suppose, precipitate
and you would have powder or whatever.

  Rowena
- Original

I looked at the Global Light Network's article on magnesium oil, and they
say that their product is ocean water in its most condensed form. There is no
oil in it at all. The water is so condensed that an oil-like viscuosity is the
result.

I don't understand this. I thought that 'condensed' water, ocean or
otherwise, would evaporate. Faith G.

CSPlanning Surgery--knee

2008-05-16 Thread Dianne France
I have a partial knee replacement already scheduled and I'm very concerned and
will talk to my surgeon about this warning. I'm totally bone on bone and it is
wearing the bones from trying to walk.

I've been having terrible sciatica in the past and although less symtomatic
with advise from others on this list I have found out what is causing the
problem. It isn't the hip as I thought. I have a bulging disc in my lower
back and it is encroaching on the nerve coming out that side. My whole spine
is arthritic according to the MRI and several places are more narrow than they
should be. Instead of looking like a round tube it looks more like a thread.
They basically told me as it continues to get worse I will probably loose the
ability to lift my toe when walking. I already have some numbness and cold
feeling down that leg. I'm wondering if an inversion machine would help?

This wasn't a very good day for my husband either as he had a check up at the
VA and it wasn't good. He's been having indigestion and that is all he thought
it was but the VA said he has already had a heart attack. They couldn't pin
point when but not recent. They want him to see a heart specialist but they
are so backed up they said if he can possibly go private to do so. He has good
insurance so we went by original primary and he is going to schedule him with a
cardiologist. He also said not to let him do anything physical until he sees
the specialist. So glad our son is here right now to take care of the farm.

Prayers are appreciated.

Apparently the FDA has known about the danger associated with Trasylol for
two years — yes, that’s two years at 1,000 deaths a month — but only now is
doing something about it. And, despite the research showing it kills people,
they are still allowing some “limited” use of Trasylol. (Don’t you wish you
were surprised?)

The worst part is that the patient is never consulted about using it. It's
not like a prescription that you can choose to fill or not.

Hi Dee,
Did you get the newer model with the clock. The one I have seems to be a little
older. I guess, it would shut off if empty. But, to answer your question, I
put it away dry for storage, when I am done. Have you tried it yet? Do you
like it. All these questions, and not a word as to what you think of
efficiency or whether you've even used it yet. :)

Hi Carol Ann. Apparently, the one I got turns itself off automatically if
empty. Just a question which doesn't seem clear in the blurb. It says you
have to empty it if turning off (I think) do you? Thanks again, Dee.

No, I don't know, sorry. Thus far it has run until I turn it off manually. A
little (few ounces) goes a long way. I've not left it running all night
either. My use thus far has been about 1 hr per session of CS inhalation. When
done, or when I see the liquid has expired, I just turn it off.

CSPlanning Surgery--knee

2008-05-16 Thread chaha
Hi, Diane,

I am not trying to frighten you, but just to send a word of caution.

A friend of ours just had his 3rd knee replacement surgery. The second one was
evidentially the wrong knee type and caused continual pain. Eight years later
he went to a maverick type doctor who put in the 3rd knee. Surgery took twice
as long, partly because he took out a pound and a half of scar tissue. Most
doctors say you can only get up to two replacements in a lifetime and most
doctors won't do a third. I've heard of folks in the past have
part-replacements to find out later the part was being recalled or that the
doctor put in a part because he got a deal on it. If your husband has good
insurance, please consider getting a second opinion or do an investigation on
your doctor through state boards, etc.

And yes, I'll say prayers for both of you. Do keep us informed.

Take care,

Cindy

This was exactly JD Wallach's point- he was a veterinarian- about human
disease, and basis for his Dead Doctors Don't Lie tape to sell his
colloidal minerals, and his book Let's Play Doctor. They have worked
for me for 17 years now but I stopped using the MLM brands when I could
get them from regular suppliers like Azure Standard.

I've also been taking Boron for nearly that long. Sure helps the bone and
 joint problems.

One friend, after initial discomfort, was delighted with her knee replacement.
Best thing out.
Another had a hip replacement - botched - they wouldn't believe the pain she
was in - eventually another op - again, a mess, a third op, after much
suffering, demonstrated the others useless but results not good even so. So
she just suffers.

Azure Standard is a co-op on the west coast and sends trucks on routes
to drops. If you live on one of their routes and could find a drop you
could get delivery free. Otherwise you would have to pay shipping.

Here are the 3 mineral drinks I'm aware of-

http://www.azurestandard.com/search.php?q=TRC+Mineral

http://www.azurestandard.com/search.php?q=Organa+mineral+drink

http://www.azurestandard.com/search.php?q=Trimedica+mineral

We've been using Organa a long time and recently we haven't been
getting the order filled. So this month I ordered all the kinds above
and ended up with 2 quarts which at least will get us through the
month. I guess if ordering by UPS you wouldn't have that problem as
they only fill orders on the routes from the stock they have at hand.

Re: CSDistiller and Generator - from America or down the road?

2008-05-16 Thread Rowena
Dee, for domestic purposes the water meters are not a must. One kind tells you
how much solid stuff is in the water, which can be handy to begin with, but
which you likely would not use after the first few days. Another I believe
would tell you kind of how strong your CS is, but I never had one.

Perhaps rain water would be a possibility.

It's incredible, isn't it, how hard the distilled water thing is over there. I
know, I have been trying to help a friend in Sussex get set up, as you may
recall. And when I found the generators on line in the UK, I thought they were
a bit pricey (if 45 pounds post free is pricey, maybe I am just a scrooge).
online holistic health shop and http://www.realmshift.talktalk.net/page5.html
were two I turned up. The Silver Pulser is available from
www.electronichealing.co.uk for £150 and two replacement wires £18.

It's embarrassingly simple to fix a piece of wire to a crocodile or alligator
clip, and I suspect that's the hardest part. Four little alligator clips from
one of those electronic type stores (you don't even have to disguise yourself
as a technician, I just went in as a little old housewife) and apart from
finding some high grade silver you are nearly there! The silver rods cost
eight quid for two from Realm Shift. Two bits of wire, four clips, and the
batteries you choose to use.
If something happened to mine, I think that is what I would do to replace it.
But I know there are some wonderful options out there across the Atlantic.

R

Smitty recently posted: I use 4 square 9V batteries hooked in series.
9 X 4 = 36V
The clips of one snap together on another. Once the four are
snapped together, use alligator clips on the 2 remaining posts.
1 plus and 1 minus.
I use silver Canadian Maple Leaf coins, which you may be
able to find at any coin/stamp shop. and attach them to a
small board with plastic clips holding the coins.
Pour distilled water into a qt. glass jar until the coins are
half covered with water.

Gosh, you sound quite the little techno whizz, Kirsteen! I am not good
at innovating and would really like to get the proper generator, but it is the
water distilling and water meters etc., which put me off. Dee

but I think it was about £50 -£60 certainly no more than that.

I couldn't afford a generator so I use the 9v battery method with some
99.9% silver wire that I also bought online. It's quick, simple and easy to
make. I don't have a meter or anything to test it just a laser pen to check for
Tyndall effect but my son, my friends and myself have all had marvellous
results with it. And now I've got my nebuliser (Ebay again :-) there's no
stopping me.

Cheers
Kirsteen
