*Still* the best (and first) night I had at Fabric.
Seconded, pls do it again!

There was a great party at Fabric in London in I think '98 or '99 (ken?)
Where Metalheadz hosted one room and UR hosted the other. The two fitted
really well together. Doc Scott and Grooverider

UFO must be one of the best dance tracks ever. eerie, cinematic,
and dark, but not in that irritating way that
can't resist making mention of this since its really a favorite of mine that I
doubt any of y'all have ever heard-
but in the rare niche of Detroit-made DB, this is
actually a pretty dope track with *very* detroit strings.

I'm listening to Trance Europe Xpress 4 and there is a wicked track by DJ

more aggressive then most of his output
Crystl dropped a couple of excellent 12s that year (on Payday I think) - 183

I tended to like 'em, never bought any before picking up the 'Journey

also check out Wax Doctor, Alex Reece and Pim - very detroit influenced drum
and bass. Particular tracks to look out for is Alex Reece's UR tribute
track UR and the remixes they did of Model 500 - fantastic.

Also Claude Young was involved with some remixes on a Solar Feelings

remixes on the 12, then there is an original and the J.

A couple of drum bass albums that will stand the test of time but are not

As for Detroit/DB crossover, look no further than Jazz Juice's
Detroit (Alex Reece and Wax Doctor I believe). Alex Reece also
remixed Kenny Larkin's Loop 2 and often professed a great love of
Detroit Techno.
