Not a stupid question, George. That was it.
Factory default is actually the second to last option - auto 100/10/f/h. I
mean config from the factory - not what happens if you push factory default
in software. I did take this radio from 14.0 (factory) to 14.1b6.

I kind of agree. I'm not sure the idea was behind defaulting it to auto
100 instead of auto 1000, though...

Nice. I like when problems are simple to solve like that.

GigE-APC-HV has different wiring than a 430-APC-HV. One of them is going to
short out the POE.

This is what I'm using and I did make it work (after I set it to do auto
1000 from default auto 100). Forrest - please correct the notes to say up

Good catch... My testing 450i seems to default to gigabit off (after a
factory default).
Once I set it on (which I seem to remember doing previously as well), it
links right up at gigabit speeds. This is with a RB850Gx2

Does it get gigabit with the cambium power supply?
Have you tried a different port on the injector? (To rule out a bad port
somehow missed in testing here)

I have a PacketFlux SyncInjector Gigabit that goes to the 450i. It's got a
48v power supply. There is no syncpipe, nor would anything work in the
lab. The test PC has two Intel gigabit NICs.
My issue is that I can only get a 100 Mbit here.
I have it set to generate sync right now and I can
I wonder if this unit is capable of doing gigabit with 450i? It does
gigabit on the ePMP.

Ports 1 and 4 on the injector are both 100 meg. Is it worth trying 2/3?

I'm just using normal cables. I'm not sure why the CMM4 would need any pin
changes, but I'm curious as to what the logic behind it was.

Did you do any wire swapping? Does the 450i need to be swapped when
going into the SyncInjector?
Matt posted on the community site that you swap pins 5 and 7 at one end
of the run for connecting to a CMM4. The CMM4 isn't GigE, but I imagine
that pin swap would break GigE. ??
On 10/28/2015
The 320 and 430 used a mixed pair arrangement. .. that is, both positive
and negative on the same pair... one on each wire. The swapping is to
enable a cmm4 to power a 450i which only supports power arrangements which
have the same polarity on both wires in the pair.
The only other thing I
Probably not.
Do you have any 802.3af or at injectors? They should work as well... at for
sure, af should work too.

Stupid question Does the 450i have this like 13.x on the regular
450? Default is auto 100f/100h/10f/10h.
