I have an easy answer to this subject...
Just take a drive to Pt. Pleasant Beach any day this summer (non rainy
of course)
You'll see tons of people and you will have to pay semi-big bucks to park.
The boardwalk is packed.
The food vendors are making a killing selling $6 French Fries, $8
burgers

Yeah, after just being
Over the years when I've had old friends visit from out of state, for one
day at least I would take them to Point Pleasant or Seaside to satisfy their
need for the Jerzy Shore Experience. Didn't matter to them if there was
rain or blistering heat; indoor bar stools at some honky tonk

what should have been done 5 years ago. In fact, had someone like
the ding-a-lings at the deal casino beach pay:
$3.00 to rent a towel
$10-$20 to rent wicker lounges on the beach. ($400 for the season)
The chairs are usually sold out. The boys come down and book 20-30
chairs.

For me Seaside Heights is what a boardwalk should be. Just be careful at night.

I think one of the big problems we have here in AP is virtually no jobs at all
for the kids on
summer break. Pt. does a great job with that.
Having a job for the summer teaches kids responsibility at a young age.
I don't even like to think of the alternatives that kids in AP have to deal

Sad.
