I'm happy to try a line-filter on the Transporter, is there any specific
filter I should buy?

Just My 2 cents.
It is the cables electrical properties that should be looked at, do
these change in time, only to very small degree and for the distances
we talk about in consumer audio, any effect is likely to be minimal and
imperceivable. Funny thing is the electrical properties of top high

Hello
I'm currently the happy owner of an SB3. My plan is to buy the
2xNuforce ref. 9V2SE mono-amps, connect them with XLR to a SD
Transporter and use the Transporter as a pre-amp.
This should not be a problem or?
Does anyone currently have this setup (transport + nuforce)?

I think Harmony at this forum uses this setup.

Does anyone know about this product? The claim is that SACD can be
outputted digitally. I am considering a Transporter but I would like
to feed it SACD. Understand, I am a technical idiot, so please try to

The speakers are Vienna Acoustics Mahlers. The system sounds very good,

Both types of Digital cables transfer digital data, not analogue sound

That being said, I really would like to learn...
Try reversing the connection on your speaker cables, so the end
connected to the amp is connected to the speaker and vice-versa.
If you hear a dramatic difference then your cable is 'directional' and
you are ready to be an audiophile.
