Found one annoyance with the F42. There is some sort of static, like noise and quiet crackling if there is no signal on the digital input (tested only toslink). For example turn off your PC. -- nuhi nuhi's Profile:

hmmm. I updated to 7.1 for my ReadyNAS a few days ago and it installed FW 40 on my transporter. Then I switched back to running my transporter off my windows machine server and it loaded FW36 onto my transporter. Unfortunately, the transporter no longer output music. Then I went back to the

Whew, FW 42 saved me. I was running 7.00 on both my Windows and ReadyNAS servers. I tried updating to 7.1 build 19530 on the ReadyNAS which installed FW 40. After figuring out to use CleanSlimServer to get all working again, I went back to my Windows PC server which installed FW36, and I

I've switched back to fw37, but fw40 was definitely exhibiting the excess degaussing problem for me. At times, it seemed like it was doing the degaussing every 10 seconds or so. I'll be happy to switch back to fw40 or fw42 to help debug this, but I'll need some clues from you folks as to what
