Ok, testing it and YES: the sound stage is defenitely wider and deeper.
Also the bass is deep and is better controlled then without the DAC.
Transparency and Details have increased tremedously, however, the
downturn is, that it comes with more treble emphasis.

determine for yourself. Or maybe you have a local dealer that would
let you take one home to try? Either way, then if you don't hear any

In the end I just bought a Simaudio Moon 100D without listening to it
before. And I did not listen to any other too. Hence, I do not know if
I did the best possible buy. But I certainly made no mistake. It's
quite remarkable what this little box did to my system. There is
finally a sound stage.

- exchanging the stock powercord for a Belden powercord (30) with
adapter was remarkably beneficial. usually i do not find big
differences when changing the powercords, but the DAC and the Apollo I

Im using the Rega DAC with SBT - and coax. Sounds very good to me.. And
getting better. It's a nice piece of kit too. Aesthetics are important
to me and the DAC looks the goods in my rack. Two -- count 'em 2
Wolfson WM8472 DACs inside. Build quality excellent.
