Hi Jeff,   At Waikerie we have an LS7 with the setup you describe (70mm skate type wheel)-and we are converting it to a standard pneumatic tail wheel,    the current setup is somewhat noisy, and harsh, and digs in relatively easily. I guess it would be OK if you operate off bitumen.
