find an entry that would match "Antonio Vieira Lourenco". The search
function can be hit and miss,
I did scan the Rabo de Peixe records beginning in 1706 to look for children
and found their daughter Francisca in 1708 in RP (right middle). I stopped
looking after I found her and will look for more children tomorrow.
Do you know if there are any children for Antonio Pereira and Ana Benevides
before 1715?

Like Lee, I am very curious about those people named after the groom's
deceased parents. The first, Manuel Andrade, seems to be the priest, then
it looks like Jose de Medeiros da Camera, ??? Jose Martins, Martinho Rapozo
and Joseph Rapozo. I haven't seen this done before.
My first thought is
It looks like it says "em presence de mim", followed by the priest's name
(as Bill pointed out), so I would assume that rest of the names are of
witnesses to the marriage. Usually, it would say "testamunhos", but I
don't see that. On the other hand, I loose the thread of it entirely where

narrative he is merely stating that those named individuals were signing
(signo) below, along with him. He may actually have signed *for* them. As
for padrinhos, I don't see anyone specifically listed as such, but, these

Mosteiros. I see his father as you do, Antonio Martins; but I see his
mother as Joanna dos Reis. Quiteria Maria was baptized in Ginetes. I see
her parents as you do, Luiz
Thanks Bill - Just wanted to clarify (partly because I haven't yet found
the marriage of Joze's parents in Mosteiros and have a feeling they may
have been from elsewhere; but not sure)
