1869. Doesn't means the census is right though. Needs more study. The side
notation is saying that in 1879 there were witnesses attesting to the
parentage of Adelaide,

André's parents are Manuel Carvalho and Victoria da Conceiçäo (Vittoria)

segment seems to say that Jose was 6 months old when he died, correct? I have
gone back 6 months

The file was a little small. I aim to save them at 250-300Kb. I was able
to enlarge it, but it was a little pixelated. It was sort of dark in spots,
though. It seems like the program is doing the trick. Give yourself more
time to learn it.
