I had an excellent view of an adult Swainson's Hawk yesterday afternoon
soaring over Bruce Rd 3 just north of Cargill Rd. With the light northeast
winds predicted for this morning, it will likely travel down the Lake Huron
shoreline and pass the Detroit River hawk watch.
Good birding,
nt Mary Ramotar also identified several other Bruce plants
throughout the weekend.
The species total was very good considering the weather conditions and I'm
already looking forward to next year.

Excellence can not be attained by aiming for
6 Rock Pigeons that, according to one young
girl, "Came to see our bonfire and be counted". The students will be
tallying the complete numbers from all the groups as part of their classroom
activities and results will be entered in eBird next week.
Another wonderful day!
