New changed location:
ln -s ${JAVA_HOME}/jre/lib/IcedTeaPlugin.so /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins/
So, when upgrading the book to OpenJDK-1.7.0.3, it is necessary:

I do not use "--enable-gtk-doc", but /usr/share/gtk-doc/html/gegl gets

No particular plans.
I have tried and failed to build openjdk and web

Armin,
Thanks for the large amount of work you are doing!
After seeing the upgrade to vte-0.32.1, I did it in my machines and *removed*
vte-0.28.2. Problem is that terminator-0.96 stopped working, because could not
find vte python bindings (python-vte, installed by PyGTK). Reinstalling
vte-0.2

I have been trying for a while to install webkit-1.8.0. I liked very much, in
particular the "until ... done make" loop to solve the racing problem,
described in Arch, as
"# ... race during introspection.
# WebKit*.gir should be created before WebKit*.typelib, but isn't"
One problem, though: i

I have upgraded Xorg in five generation LFS machines.
The sequence and instrucions are the same as in the book, only many versions
change:
util-macros-1.17.0
xorg-proto
makedepend-1.0.4
libXau-1.0.7
libXdmcp-1.1.1
libpthread-stubs-0.3
xcb-proto-1.7
libxcb-1.8.1
xorg-lib
xcb-util-0.3.8
MesaLib-8.
There is a small typo (took me some minutes to discover). ;-)
