I've done something very similar to what you are wanting to do.
All you need to do is set up a DSN on Host 2 that points to the Host 1
database. The only trick to this is that you CAN'T use the CF Administrator

Where is the SQL Server installed?
It sounds like you just need to create a new SQL Server datasource on
host 2.

I've got an issue am hoping someone can answer it.
I have two (2) external hosts... and two (2) domains.
Primary domain is on Host 1 - and also has a sql server datasource.

I unplug my machine from the Internet, grab a baseball bat, and hide in a
closet until I am certain no software is spying on me. Sometimes for weeks.
No, seriously, I have no good strategy for circumventing it other than to
use NMAP every once in a while to monitor what my computer is sending out
