song writer and was signed to EMI years ago.
He actually wrote many songs that Anne Murray covered.

Murmur is probably one of the best albums ever made by anyone ever, but
REM hasn't been REM for... oh, 15 years or more now. I saw the Green
tour in - 1988 maybe? Memory... Fading... - and I was agog at albums
like "Murmur" and "Document" at that point - I was maybe 13 or so.
