CF5 and Windows 2003/IIS6

We're about to upgrade our server, currently running W2K/IIS5 to W2003/IIS6. We are currently running CF5. Are there any issues installing or running CF5 on W2003/IIS6? We're also running Corda's PopChart Server version 4 - does anyone have any experience with this running on W2003/IIS6? Anyth

Yes you can search a CLOB, but it takes some doing.  If in Toad you can use some Oracle functions.  If running a CFQUERY you cannot do it in CF 5 or earlier without the aid of a custom tag (they are Java based and you have to pay for themabout $35 US if memory serves). HTH Cheers Bryan Steve

Yes, this is one of the problems I have as well. Another one is flakey connections. Your HS+ can go off the deep end if your connection to your remote box isn't quite perfect. MACR is aware of this and I bet we will see a solution in a future version, if there is one. [Todays Threads] [This Me

yuppers.  We have diehard RDS users here that abhor drive shares...on a windows network.  Yeah, soucecontrol and transports are apples and oranges for sure.  It would be neat if Macr would update RDS to interact with maybe at least two popular source control engines.  That's all I was alluding to r

Ray, I agree with you about RDS, but one thing bugs me sometimes.  If for some reason RDS fails to connect on a save operation it gives a timeout. Then (often) under no circumstances can you save the file or reconnect to the host - nor can I even close CF studio.  I have to kill it from the task m

Well, one minute though - it's not really fair since RDS is a means to remotely create, edit, and delete files. CVS is for source control and code manangement. It's apples and oranges. That being said, RDS is NOT perfect, however I think it works quite well most of the time. [Todays Threads] [

No, CVS does not work with RDS.  It has built in support for about 7 different protocols but since RDS is Macromedia proprietary that is not one of them.  I really don't understand why you'd want to anyways.. CVS provides a complete solution for both version control and client/server communication

We are about to start working on a feature for a client that would allow a user that is logged in to down one several different types of files. The idea is to have CF list the files that the user has access to and be able to download them by clicking on the link.  The one trick it that these files
