Thanks Tom. I want to keep the same size all around. I currently have
aftermarket aluminum slot wheels on it and right now the plan is to keep
them as long as they clean up ok. I guess I should see how the rims turn out

215 70 14 is a good size to run with if you want to keep the currect rims.
235 60 14 will fill it out a little more but you will need a at least a 7" wide
rim. I personally would dump the 14's and upgrade to a 15 x 7 inch rim all
around. Now depending on what you want (all 4 tires the same, o

Oh man, aren't those really small? I used to run 225/70 15s, and they
fill the wheel well nicely.
I tried on 3 sets for my front tires before I found the right size. I

My favorite tires have always been the old Eagle STs (goodyear), as far

If you like the RWL, then go for it. I think they look ok, depending

I don't know the "old school" tire sizes, but for 195-70-14, the "70" in the
modern tire size has nothing to do with width.
For your example, 195-75-14
195 = section width, in millimeters. This is really the width designation.
A 205 is wider than 195, but narrower than a 215.
75 = section heigh
I think it depends heavily on the kind of wheels you have. Both my cars
have RWLs-the Chevelle has Rally rims and my Camino has 80s Z-28 rims and
they both look fine (IMO) with RWLs. However, if I had something like
Centerlines, I'd definitely go blackwall.

Also, hwo about some thought on tire width? In the past I used to run with
70s because I liked the slightly fatter look. Any reasons not to? The stock
tire size is 195/75-14, so I was thinking about going with 195/70-14s. I
need to get these puppies ordered.
Thanks,

Hokey? Cool looking? I'm wondering if I should go for RWLs or just
blackwalls.
