Not completely true. A 71 Chevelle with a 454 in whic
s well but
not needed because the W in the VIN would verify this year.

side are the mfg. number and date, the top of the frame rail will have the
partial VIN. However, the partial VIN is of no use in determining whether

No plate? Post the vin. Without a plate value is in the eye of the
beholder. Look at the frame rail passenger side by the gas tank. There
might be some numbers there. Use a pencil and paper and do a rubbing.

It really is quite easy and straight forward. What I did...was get the
straps hooked on the non-bolted endI want to say that I taped the felts
to the tank, just at the end of them to hold them in place. Then I slide the
tank under the car, and held
of the straps bolted
up(loosely).Then got the other one bolted up, then tightened both up.
It's pretty easy when there is no gas in it

replaced? The brake warning light comes on when A) the parking brake is
set, B) when the shut off pin inside the distribution block closes to prevent
complete brake failure. I've seen this a number of times on GM
vehicle

up building a "buggy" for the body so I could roll it around. I

Only thing I can add to Daves reply is to buy quality parts.You
can't go wrong with MOOG, TRW, or DANA.Don't buy one of the "kits"
unless the vendor can assure you that the parts are name brand.
And even if it means a delay, do it all at once. Save yourself grief
later on. Its a bear
