acceptable results are you looking for (2-11 mb theoretically)? If you need
the equivalent of a T1, you can try the high gain antennas. Even though

You can either use GRE protocol (I haven't tested with on PIX myself) or,
you can use Novell's Compatibly mode server. This allows you to
convert/translate IPX to IP to pass through the PIX. These servers
basically run on very low-end machine (we're running P166).

It depends on the version you're using: some versions you can only issue the
conduit commands, new versions 5.X you can do both conduits and
static/access-lists commands.

but, you can't ping it. You have to create an access list allowing icmp.
Of course thing assuming its not a subnetting issue. Cisco recommends this

That's true, conduits are going away. The only reason you see them is for
backward compatibility issues. Definitely use static commands with
access-lists. Its a two-step process, but its a nice feature.

I've encountered a strange one today. I issued cdp neigh command on my
router, the results two switches on the same router int (e0). I checked the
first switch (Cat 5XXX), and the results from the cdp command as follows:

I've a 7010 router that was configured with TACACS. I need to reconfigure
this router, its no longer connected to the network thou. So, tacacs can
not authentic to allow me in. Is there a way to bypass tacacs
authentication?

I need some help with configuring an 802 router to accept in-band calls for
trouble shooting purposes. I need the line to come up if I attempt a telnet
into it (only telnet traffic). Any suggestions I'm researching Cisco's
