Sundarum, I assume by "VPN" you mean IPSec. IPSec is supported beginning in 12.0 on the 2500 platform, but only for 56 bit DES. As far as I know, 3DES, or Triple DES, is not supported on the 2500 platform. This is probably due to the performance limitations of the 2500.

I have a requirement to run a VPN for remote access and NAT for the entire LAN. I would prefer to run the one or the other on the router. Does anyone have any suggestions as to which? I am also currently running BGP. My opinion is to run the VPN on the router and NAT on another box therby
