If you're packaging a prerelease, devel branch, or
alpha/beta/release candidate, name the release 0.1mdk
then 0.2mdk working your way up, then when the final
comes out, it's 1mdk

like libqt3-devel, liqbt3-devel-sql, but it hasn't been done
