2.4. kernel.
Looking to /etc/rc.d/init.d/Isdn4linux ; 2 cards have the same number (34).
Corrected.
Looking where my modem is pointing : to ttyS2 ; must be ttyS1. Linuxconf
didn't set it as I want.
So corrected it also.

Look first if 0.. gnome is available in /etc/X11/wmsession.d
Check /etc/X11/prefdm
An other way:
type when in console: xdm --nodaemeon
and select gnome in the opened window.
I think this will also set your session.
After that try with startx.

Hi,

Ask for an 'initscripts = 5.27-28'.
Have 5.27-8 and can't upgrade to 5.27-42 !

Any help appreciated.

Hi. This is probably not the appropriate place to post these
ared to 7.2b1 with this regard.
I have a Voodoo 5 and a fresh install of Mandrake 7.2 (SMP kernel).
The above elements are in place (XF4.01, module loaded, proper Glide) but
accelerated GL is not available.

perfectly : mouse, CD writer in scsi0,
and zip usb when mounted was in scsi1, correctly working (module
usb-storage was correctly loaded when needed). Perhaps a conflict between
modules ?

Hmm,
Does anyone know what the difference is between the current 7.2 beta and
the released 7.2 version ?
I have tried ulysse beta 3 and i would like to report some problems :
- minor bugs :
- kcontrol center does not run from the icon on the KDE panel. The
shortcuts adds a "%c" to the command kcontrol that is invalid.
- when using a zip drive, the mount point /mnt/zip is incorrectly
points, they are not correct anymore !
