I ran into the same problem when installing acpid. I ran lsof on the
file being reported as busy and that showed hal. running
/etc/init.d/hal stop ; apt-get install -f ; /etc/init.d/hal start
solved the problem for me.

support for mpath in the latest release of iproute2 (v2.6.23-071016),
since it apparently was removed from the kernel.

The list passed to helpings_translatestringlist() should be null
terminated. Adding a null to the end of the cddrives_dltitles[]
array in cddrives.c seems to fix the segfault.

chose another database (since there is atleast one available that will
work)... This way there's no annoying popups telling you what you can't
do when you don't care, while giving you helpful hints when you do care.
