I think it's really necessary to look at the bigger picture rather than

observed that many people end up using Flat Grey. Not sure why this is.
IMHO Tomahawk looks nice, but in the end, the mixture of dark and light
is hard on the eyes. Having to scroll over to expose links makes

its better placed in Ofbiz Extras.

OFBiz. Granted, we have some artifacts that must take the OS into

To be sure there is no Null Pointer Exception, yes, you need to test for
null first. One possibility is to just let the NPE happen.

Use the Moqui approach and separate in
1. framework,
2. services and entities
3. application components
and concider a conversion path to the moqui framework.

It seems weird to keep a 'demo application' in the framework, purely to
facilitate developers. It adds no value to using ofbiz in production. So it
should be removable from the framework and and self-contained (no
dependencies from other applications).
