Found it! When I looked at the Artist Info for the tracks in Media Player (v11), each one had the Album Artist set correctly but the Artist tag was empty. So my guess is that SlimServer doesn't look at the Album Artist tag. The same problem is in 6.5.3. I updated the Artist tags and did a

Is this anything to do with the fact that you have security setup on the NAS box. Slimserver runs as a local system service and will therefore get access denied when trying to view files on the NAS. Have you tried configuring this to run with your account password? Not sure about ITunes

Well, the reason it was not caught by QA is because it's not a bug! Go to Player Settings, and on the Basic Settings page look for Title Format. Change it to something like TRACKNUM. TITLE from ALBUM by ARTIST or one of the other choices. -- andyg
