Michael: happy to help if I can. I'm running a windows xp machine,
service pack 2, 2.4 GHz, 512 RAM with a swap file size of 1536 MB.
I've been running Webroot Spysweeper and NOD32 antivirus for several
years now. Other than that, pretty vanilla. Belkin Pre-N wireless

Is this slower than it was before? Are you using MusicIP or iTunes? When

Hi Michael, I've been meaning to say for a while, I find the new web
interface incredibly slow.
I'm running from SVN on Windows XP, Firefox 2.

Well the SB2 and SB3 internals are basically the same, so the real
question is how well have people done with sync on the SB1. I did use
to have one and it generally worked but did have problems. Remember
that the SB1 is MUCH more sensitive to wireless problems than the SB2/3

Where do you see this "loading" message? Do you see any SC related messages in

It's a 2Ghz P4 with 1Gb of memory. SqueezeCentre is running on the same

I think there is plenty of memory, about 600Mb in use normally.

thanks radish, I may as well give SC7 a try. Incidentally I've found SB3
to be no better than SB1 regards wireless stability (ie my SB1 is fairly
solid). Anyone out there got a SB1 sync'd with a SB2/3?

If you are only streaming mp3s you would not see much difference i
well i'm very confused now since SB3 seems to be the weak link!! Loaded
SC7 and sync'd both SBs. Both started playing (SB1 wireless strength

Yes Erik, I am a norwegian as well, sitting in Oslo/Smestad.

Squeezenetwork does not need your PC running so it is only used for
Internet Radio and network services such as MP3Tunes, Pandora etc

I'm a little sad tonight - I hope someone has some insight. I wanted to

plugin and wanted to make sure it was working (ie, outputting 3.x volts

going to let it run for a few days to ensure that all is stable. If
pressing "Click here to download" to update to 6.5.4 within slim server
messes me up again, then I will have something more meaningful to

X-10 hardware is cheap. It's clunky. It's loud. But if you need
something like PowerSwitch and your headphone outs are toast, look at
my BottleRocket plugin.
Oh, yeah, if you have a Windows system it can support Insteon, which is
more expensive, reliable, and nicer than X-10.
Good luck.
