Andy, here's youre problem (see below debug view and respective squeezecenter.exe PID). Debugview shows a problem banging away several times a second. It looks like a bug. You can also see the server.log file is generating this error again. I am also getting a new error message in server.log

[slim] Display on new controller

Slightly off topic, but noticed that Denon have a range of networked components including Boom look-a-like. Wireless/wired. FLAC too. Interesting that Denon now seem to be in the speaker business. Perhaps meeting a need for a 'packaged' system rather than a set of components. Dan --
