instead of wireless, but can't work out how to do it. I've tried
unplugging it and doing a factory reset (holding the front button down
for 20 seconds) but it never gives me the option to select ethernet.

Hm...I didn't get to do more testing until this morning.
The changes I made to SC were as follows:
Radio Station Buffer Seconds : 4 (was 3)
Radio Station Timeout : 12 (was 10)
And I set the logging as suggested..
Now the 96k Radio 4 WMA stream is running without problem! I wonder if

the controller, then powered down the receiver and did a factory reset
on that too. I still didn't get the option to choose between ethernet
and wireless. It's a shame that the manual doesn't say how to change

I'm on Virgin Broadband. Virgin don't use traffic shaping, they tend
to use a much more blunt instrument - STM (Subscriber Traffic
Management, they call it). They basically reduced your bandwidth for a

Yes it's showing a wireless signal strength of 53% (and drops out
occasionally), which is why I wanted to switch to ethernet

It appears that it WAS after all a SqueezeCenter problem. I removed
the offending playlists and viola, it worked. It turns out there were
old playlists IN MY MUSIC FOLDER, referring to external drives

browse music via press and hold a song to get to the song info. My
question is it possible to get to Album Review and Biography from the
Now Playing for the currently playing song? I may be blind but I could
not find anything
As far as I understand it, the 128 streams play fine over the
Squeezenetwork and Squeezecentre, I can certainly vouch for this.
The downloads are DRM'd and won't play over the SC once saved on the
PC. There are probably ways of getting round the DRM such as burning
to CD-audio and re-ripping,
I'm having an odd connection problem with SN. I've been using iPeng
since it was released and it has always worked nicely. I love the 1.1
version's must quicker loading of my large library and the ability to
use SN instead of SC when desired. All was working OK, then this
morning, turned on
I was tapping around iPeng and stumbled upon the folder, and saw some
garbage characters which are my chinese/japanese folder names. any idea
is it due to the SC having this problem or iPeng 1.1 does not display
non-English characters?

Choose Show artwork for a song and click on the black screen before the
artwork is shown. iPeng reverts briefly to the Song info screen and then
