Can someone PLEASE tell me how to get this onto the Kindle Fire?
I've already installed Squeeze Commander (via slideme.org, IIRC), and it
works fine. I've already told the Fire to allow apps from other
sources.
As per the instructions at the start of this thread, I went to Android
Pit, and
I only discovered that SBs are discontinued via an email from Ripcaster
suggesting that I trade-up (?) my Transporter to something in the Linn
DS range! But I still shiver in horror every time I see the term
UPnP: every UPnP device I've tried to use has been awful. There's
always some function
guess being able to to launch web searches for an artist /
album / whatever might be useful... oh hang on, that's already there in
Firefox (albeit crude)!)

Alternatively, point your SC browser to a different player from the
one(s) you're listening to, and edit playlists there. (If you don't have
a spare player, install a copy of SoftSqueeze somewhere and use
that.)

different). If the same thing happens with browsing on another PC,
then perhaps your server is underpowered or in some way misconfigured
(it would seem odd if it could serve music OK but not web content).

BTW, I still have the Music folder checked in SC as well. Most
instructions suggest leaving this unchecked, but it doesn't seem to do
me any harm, and I hit other problems (no artwork!) when I tried

SD Support had suggested that removing and replacing the wireless card
would reset it, which might get it working again. (I wouldn't have
tried this if it had still been under warranty.) Glad to hear that it
