Sending music to a synced player from JRiver Media Center via WhiteBear
is broken in the current release version of WhiteBear, but AndrewFG has
fixed it. LMS or iPeng or something else on the Squeezebox side must
first sync the players.

I am afraid it still does not work with the fixed version. The result is
the same as before. With media streaming disabled on the MC PC there is
nothing in the Whitebear log. I enabled Media streaming and then there
are entries in the log.

3. Check if there is any software or hardware firewall blocking port
8124. If you are running and Spotify on different machines, you might
have to set your router to allow connections on port 8124 to the machine
running Spotify.

music seems to be the same because what is gained in time by the fast
playback of the advertisement is replaced by silence (which you really
need since the fast playback that occurs sometimes is really
disturbing...). I think I will have to upgrade.

6. Restarted the PC.
7. I changed my music folder from an unc path to a local path (but
first I did the same for the shortcut in the music folder). That
triggered a wipe and rescan.
The rescan is under way now and I will report the result when it has
finished...

BTW, just the MusicIP-import took over 3 hours, and the MusicIP library
file is in its default location, i.e. on the internal (C:) disc where SC
also is; I think the internal discs are all IDE, not SATA.

the Extras menu of which player is selected? On the SBC, for inst
