The mini has a small fan, but the system is generally pretty quiet.

If You want a silent PC You can search for a HP/Compaq e-pc D510, it's
small (but upgradeable with a large HD). On e-bay You can find for a
little money.

I keep a power strip stashed under my couch with a few charge
connectors, my 770, treo, and laptop can all be charged from there.
best thing to do is just have the wire on an end table or someplace
where you leave the thing at night.

I like the artist view that now shows the album images instead of a
plain list of albums. For some reason for artists where I've only got
one album I don't get the image displayed. It's fine for artists with
two or more albums.
I'm using the latest 6.5 nightly on Win XP.

As Ben mentioned - it is in the Maemo site - in particular
My experience is that the 2006 OS is a huge improvement, though part of that may have been me enabling some swap memory on the card. Certainly the web browser seems more responsive and will now handle eBay (which crashed it in the past).
No issues i've found yet.

i've flashed before from linux and it worked fine.
my earlier statement about windows only was directed at the nokia
website instructions, not @ what's actually possible.
