I'm using AVG Free version 8.0.100 on
I reverted back to AVG free 7.5 and everything is now running as it
should.

The old web skin, now called Classic, still exists, but is not the
default. You can easily change over to using that skin. It's a lot more
responsive, even though some of the AJAX stuff did manage to work it's
way in for the 7.0 release.
I'm still running 6.5.5 for my main system, which does

While I run iTunes on my machine, it's there purely to manage content
for my iPod. My main music library is all WMA Lossless, and iTunes has

I recently installed Squeezecenter 7.0 (to go with my new duet).
Previously I had been running slimserver 6.5.4 with my Squeezebox and
the whole system worked perfectly w/ no issues and minimal fuss.
Immediately after installation, I noticed that the response time for
Squeezecenter was

Synchronize Power, choose Power Off/On With Group. Save the

A theory I had was that the problem may be to do with the error 87
mentioned in the mysql-error-log which is described on mysql.com as:
87 (ERROR_INVALID_PARAMETER)
The parameter is incorrect. (If this error occurs on Windows and you
have enabled innodb_file_per_table in a server option file,
XP SP2, new install of SC7.0. MySQL is crashing every time I try and
start it.
Any antivirus installed? Make it _not_ block *.my* files.

There's no difference between a wav file and any other track, they can
be made favourites provided they're in the db. In your case, as they're
transient files, I assume they haven't been scanned. I don't think it's
possible to set a directory as a favourite, only one of the db entities

SB3, but with 2 sync'd SB3's SqueezeCenter seems a lot worse. I get
gaps between tracks of upto 10 seconds, although more normally a couple
