successor, the Boom a great add on.
The Duet was a mis-step - as I got a replacement battery for the

I bought my first SLiMP3 about 8 yrs ago (guesswork, I didn't google
it). Was a toss up between that an Audiotron(!). Still have it, in a
box somewhere. Amazed at howit just worked,straight out of the box.
Since then, an sb1, sb1g, sb2, 2xsb3, 2 radios, a boom a duet later I
Boxen sure beat the crap out of my old method of wiring computer-grade
Belkin cable to tape-corder switches and bridging line level between
tape-in and tape-out. (Of course, that was 1987.)

You should live in the UK (or anywhere other than the USA Canada),
there are no links to any forums on non-US Logitech sites. In order to
access them you have to change your location to the US.
I've raised this issue with Logitech several times over the last 5
years or so and at one point

It took me half an hour to find back the squeezebox stuff on the
improved Logitech site. They might have sent a mail to their
customers explaining this move. Forum and Wiki now deep hidden as a
footnote three leves deep under support. What a lousy web designer they
hired!

been a faithful Firefly / Roku Soundbridge customer for the past 2+
years. I run Ubuntu 6.06 LTS server edition headless on an old Dell
Optiplex PC. All my music
I've only got an SB3, but the difference it's made is vast.
Everything I own is now so easy to access. The speed I can find what I
want to listen to is amazing.
