IntelliJ. I ended up removing the XMLUI artifact from deployment and
re-added it. After restarting Tomcat, the problem was solved. No maven
rebuild was required.

I don't think I've ever seen it in DSpace. But the wheel is the "Sunburst"
visualization part of the open source InfoVis toolkit:

Integrating this into DSpace should definitely be possible.
