I have a K3 with almost all the options. I recently installed the KXV3. I'm
not sure if the problem started after doing this but I did receive my first
chirp report shortly after. The rig is almost a year old but has the newest
firmware.
It seems to happen when the shift filter is moved and
I have never in my 34 years as a ham used an external keyer and always used
either hand pump (old days) or built in keyer in my radios. But I keep
hearing folks using external keyers despite built in capabilities.
I am a CW enthusiast and over 95% of my Q's are CW. I do like using memories
but
I have a K3 with all modules except transverter interface. The radio does not
communicate with the PC (or Mac) before it has been on for about 45 minutes
- consistently. I turn on one of my rig control/logging programs or K3
utility right after the radio is turned on. Without touching anything
With the 1.2.1.6 K3 Utility for OSX I get the message that I have the newest
firmware although it is 02.73.
Does anyone have a direct link to download 02.78?

I just received and installed the KRX3 and KDVR3 today. Everything works
great except maybe one thing:
1) When I tap M1-M4 for playback of messages it goes to TX plays them. THis
is correct but it does not return to RX. Is this just the nature of the
beast?

Center freq is locked to 0.00 on CW and 1.35 on Data. Both with the asterisk

KX1 K2 in operation and a K3
signal when I inject a signal at pin7 or 8
on the respective relays. But as soon as I touch either side of C6 for 40m,
L7 for 80m, C22 for 20m etc, it is as strong as it should be.
I have measured all the relays for potential shorts but they seem to be
fine.
Any ideas out there?
