Hi all, and apologies that my Web Start effort causes problems with
Windows 8. (I'm a linux user and was unaware.) Some quick ideas:
1. I am glad to recompile the code to not use web start.
2. I realize I never made the source code available, an oversight.

Gil,
If you're a cw operator, I make heavy use of the 400 Hz filter. Not too
narrow (usually), and not too wide.

Add in 350 Hz to that and you have a dial tone. (Really!)

Regarding the recent thread about the K3 DSP board, according to
http://www.elecraft.com/K3/mods/dsp_rev_c_information.htm
it says that beginning serial number 3626 +/- 10, K3s shipped rev D of the
DSP board.
Hope the info is useful to some. 73,

Straight out of college I was one of 100+ design engineers on the Mode-S

Hey all,
I have an analog scope, excellent in its day:

If interested, please contact me. It's yours if you can pick it up.

I also was given an old Heathkit scope, ca. '62, from the estate of an

Hi Urb,
Probably CONFIG -> PA is set to BYPass. Change it to NORmal and you'll
have your PA inline!

These days, if you want to experiment with DSP algorithms, it is

Hisashi,
Not as convenient as physically remoting the buttons, but I wrote a
small C program that sends commands to the K3. I then made some short
"aliases" using that program name. If I type the letter "a" the K3
sends my call, AB3AP. If I type "9" it sends "R 5nn TU" ("7" sends "R
