Sorry to hear you are having issues, and I know this does not fix your
current issue, but as an aside, I always do a save of system config just
before any critical operations like contests, etc. Makes the recovery a
lot simpler, if needed.

Looking back at my station notes, I’m wrong. It wasn’t RG-313, it was RG-303.
Sorry for the error. This is a small diameter (0.170”) coax with a solid teflon

Isn’t the name apt, though?
A feedpoint choke like this does manage the interface from the unbalanced coax
to the balanced antenna by inhibiting the flow of common-mode currents. Hence,
Bal-Un.

That's a common mode choke, and #43 is a terrible material for the HF

it is an RF feedback problem.
Don't forget that the balun may be breaking down with power and show no

Just guessing, but I suggest you
K3 and SUBRX with all of its TMP cables, and I suspect one of these
cables caused the problem. An intermittent contact of the KREF3
reference oscillator could also be the cause.

antenna behaves with higher power levels than your antenna analyzer

I just turned on my 2m transverter and when I went back to 6m my CW doesn't
work. The display shows + and T and I don't get any power out in CW. Other
modes work fine. I looked at instructions but couldn't figure it out.

My two inline watt meters say the match is 1.2 to one. The K3 thinks it is 3.3

fine. AGC stayed on when running HRD.
Today I notice that my P3 locks up (display freezes) when the rig has been

Turning the rig off/on - and
Left my K3/P3 with ver MCU 4.42 running over the night - no freeze on the
P3.
Obvious my K3/P3 don't like the v. 4.47 :-(
