from the P3 software guys. It's EXTREMELY annoying that the P3 won't respect
the center frequency setting if the radio is tuned via any CAT command. I've

change bands via the CAT, the P3 center freq won't always end up where
you last had it. I believe SPAN width is preserved but the span limits
show up strange. It's a known issue, has been discussed at some length

That jack is used only for factory testing. Your P3 should work
normally without it.
Hang onto the jack and if you ever send the P3 to Elecraft for repair,

On the P3 on CW the signals seem always lower than on my Elecraft K3S (even
2 S-unit).
This morning I tested the P3 S-meter with my HP8640 signal generator and I
found that on every band the 50uV signal result in a perfect S9 on both K3S
and P3.
Now I think the real question is to introduce a corr
My P3 cursors have disappeared. The menu selections are there but the
cursors do not appear when selected. I have the latest P3 firmware loaded.

To use the P3 with the K2, you have to modify the K2 to add an IF output
connector. Clifton Labs used to sell an adapter kit which is now
offered by DX Engineering.
