If I remember, the file tort.ngc was generated by a python script named "torture.py", and it was a test for the trajectory planner, "tort" stands for "torture"... But I don't remember if that script is included with the official release of EMC2, or only in the CVS-TRUNK. Greetings, Manfredi

I was wondering how the spindle sync works, roughly anyways. It sounds like emc uses the counts between index to track the spindle. then the index must be just to reset the count and as a starting point for threading. How does the tracking work ? Check that every pulse the Z axis has moved a
