Does anyone know if 8.1 openssh packages do anything differently to 7.2 ??
for some reason, my win32 client for scp doesnt' work in 8.1 (the prog is
called iXplorer)
iXplorer uses putty and even getting the cvs version of putty didn't help.
The problem is that it logs in sucessfully but
I'm using the 0.99 cooker RPMs, which scared the jeebies out of me at
first. After doing a "urpmi evolution" and installing all the
dependencies and evolution, I promptly started it up. Well, I couldn't
access my Mail or Contact folders. Arghhh... Searched the Ximian bugs

do file attributes get changed , but a few get blown away, the xinetd

years. It has not ever corrupted any file. The main thing that a soft

router with public wireless IP adapter ---> private IP ethernet
card
web/mail server
NAT for the private range internal IP network
CBQ scheduler and shaper for bandwidth limitation

Or, the sound card cdrom input is turned down, or muted, or labeled
incorecctly. IE, it's actually plugged in to the sound cards, Modem input.

I'm using 8.1 on my toshiba notebook, and I've found it to be VERY stable.
I've had to restart X a couple of times, but I've NEVER been forced to reboot.
Overall, I'm quite happy.
