Not sure if "find" can do it on it's own... but in UNIX, no tool is on it's own! This
will work:
find . -type f -printf "%s:\t%p\n" | grep "^[456][0-9][0-9][0-9]:"

Subject: Re: [expert] Linux uptime question
Alan:
There is something I am remembering from a discussion in my local LUG that
some
counter resets after 497 days up, so when you go over that amount of time
up, it
goes back to 0 and starts coun
ccupped, they are updated
every 10 minutes with timestamps placed on them with the SGI's creation of
the graphx..
Anyone know WHY this is.. I was really bummed. It says 3 days uptime but I'm
convinced it's 500..
Thanks
Alan

Can anyone tell me WHAT JRE works with MDK 8? I've tried several,
blackdown, IBM, etc. I have YET to get this working with mdk 8 and better
more konqueror. I've followed all the dir's and still no luck. I must be
doing SOMETHING wrong.
Alan
Same here. I cannot still understand how Mandrake ( and RedHat ) for that
matter, cannot bundle a working universal JRE in thier distro's.
I've tried to get Java working NUMEROUS times in both MDK and RH, with no
avail.. ( are the MDK listeners here?? )
Install JAVA upon install.

Do you mean that we should start the install with a
MandrakeFreq CD, then, after the 'Choose a Language' window
comes up, swich to the 'core system' CD?

if, like I did, you get a dependency error for printtool
needing rhs-printfilters-with-ppa then add a nodeps to the
command line like this:
rpm -ivh --nodeps *
Then open a console window, 'su -' to become root
and execute printtool to set up a printer.
It's working just fine on my mdk 8.0 system.

E CDROM. The problem is with Adaptec

JohnThat's not a problem, when the install completes the
scsi CD is recognized by the installed system (the kernal
that is installed is not the same as the kernal that was
loaded to do the install).

If you intend to install mdk 8.0 with an ext2 filesystem then
use 2.2.14-BADZ2, otherwise if you intend to install mdk 8.0
with a reiserfs filesystem then use 2.2.19-BADZ5. In either
case make a boot floppy with your choice of one of these
files and use that floppy to boot your computer for the
installation. Then remove the floppy and continue with the
CD install.
