Hi everyone:
I have another question: I've been trying to install Helix Gnome (Gnome 1.2)
on MDK7.2 (now Ximian I believe).
So far I haven't had success: I use the Go-Gnome script. 7.2 does not appear
on the OS menu (only 7.1).
It works just after the installation. The problem is that after

Yes, my control center is crashing. I found I had to install the RPM versions
of the Netscape 4.75 program to get things to work normally in gnome as well.
I had been running the version from ftp.netscape.com.

I was told that Helix is the latest version of Gnome and that is smooth

I am using helix here, and it is great - Very smooth, clean and just all round

I couldn't go back to kde if I wanted to - The new Gnome is just so-unclunky.

Dear Gnome:
I just recently downloaded Helix Gnome from the Web. I normally use KDE,
but I was very impressed with the new Helix Dome. I am speaking as an

menu fonts and panel -- everything looked so much better than the Gnome
... for instance you get a new version of GIMP, etc.
