Hi, Inky just doesn't seem to tolerate the fluids, and I don't really know why..He isn't retaining any fluid as he pees alot..He is drinking around 300 to 400cc a day.  I am giving him chicken broth all he wants...I measure all the fluids so I don't think he will dehydrate as long as he keeps drin

Kerry,     He needs to be on Lasix if the fluids are affecting his heart that badly, many CRF kitties are also heart problem kitties and many getting fluids are on lasix, your vet should know that.  If not maybe you can have them recommend an internal specialist more versed in CRF problems
