No, 10.9.2 doesn't significantly slow down anything. In fact, things generally seem a little snappier on my 2008 MacPro. I think some of that is due to the memory compression. Best thing one should do upgrading from 10.6 is to do a complete new install on a new drive, and then use the migration

I'm currently using Fin 2012 on a macpro. os 10.6.8 (snow leopard). My current set up is very stable. In order to upgrade to Fin 2014 I need to upgrade the OS. Should I go 10.7 10.8 or 10.9? I also have Logic Pro 9 and DP 7 using mostly native plugins. with EZ drummer.   Mark McCarron __
