Setup: Win XP Pro SP3, PSDR 2.0.22, F3K
Trying to work A25FC, 7063/7145. When I set things up, then use SPLT
one of the VFOs changes. Is that because the split is so big or ???

I get 60 watts out on 2m and 70cm and that is the rated output.

It is a known issue (see release notes) that the drive control is not linear
for 2m and 70cm -- mine is more exponential.
I'm not certain what the resolution will be.
I had the same loud noise issue with my UPC, I had to move it out also.

Ok Skip
You made me feel bad :-( .. The schematics are available in the Flex 5000
Service Manual, contact Dudley on how to get that.
That may answer some of your questions.

I'm not sure what "incorrectly handles" means either.
I did try creating EQ profiles to compensate, but local folks said no EQ
sounded just as good.
Taking the highs down on RX did help.
Most of the NFM I do is satellite and I've been fairly successful at that.
with particular emphasis on
running PowerSDR. There have been issues in the past with the IPMTB-TK
motherboard, and I don't yet know the 1394 chipset used for Firewire. Any
input is appreciated.

I tried FMN on HF and it worked ok.
One thing to be aware of, when you switch between FMN and any other mode,
your drive control creeps down and if you switch between FMN and other mode
enough it will go to zero .

Never mind previous question, found the answer in the release notes.
Install went smooth as butter, but I should have done a data transfer first.
Also, I forgot to reboot after the new driver install. But it seems
to be OK anyway. Guess I lucked out.
