[Flexradio] SDR-5000 VOX control

I use a Heil microphone with the HC-5 element. When I select VOX , audio pickup seems to be way too sensitive, as I have to set VOX to full scale (1000), and even that setting is still overly sensitive. Are there other settings that affect VOX ? Anyone have any ideas how to handle this? Dave
