Clear plastic self stick feet are great replacements for the original
black rubber feet that peel off and get lost so easily. Think 3M
makes them. Available at hardware stores. Bouncy like rubber and they
grip about as well so the book doesn't slide off of inclined

Now that the cat is out of the bag, what people are thinking about Apple
charging the full retail price ($129) to get the 10.2 update?
Personally, since Apple is still trying to build momentum for OS X, I think
it's a bad decision...

Earthlink (my DSL provider) provides the 20 hours
local dialup, if you can find a local number. Where
that's not an option, their 800 number has been
$0.08/min (just went to $0.10), which for my
infrequent travel is quite a reasonable solution.
