Just an update! I partitioned my HD with 9 Gig for 10 and 20 for 9, then my
installer told me that I could not install Jaguar, because I did not have a
version of 10 on the HD already-CUTE! I guess that copy of Jaguar is an
update only (got it from Apple for my G4 as-you guessed it, an update for
http://www.amatteroffax.com/ has USB to 9 pin serial adapters. I've had
good luck with mine. Price was reasonable too

I used the Airport drivers when I used a Lucent card on my 2400c (with
G3 upgrade). I used Tomeviewer to extract the files and installed them
onto the 2400c. When I popped the card in, it showed up as Airport PC
Card on the desktop. This was under MacOS 9.1.

I'm having trouble. Its a 20gig IBM travelstar and after I boot with the CD
and install OSX 10.1.4 I reboot and the drive fails to Spin up.
Is there a firmware update I missed or is there a size limit with this unit
On Wallstreet G3's the OSX installation must be in a partition that's
in the first 8Gb of the drive. Did you partition the drive before
installing OSX?
