WS was either asleep or powered off (can't remember) and charging the
battery when it happened. I suppose a battery going whacko and about
to blow could have some effect on the other symptoms you

Configurations; IIRC, there should be a new ethernet port (en1 or en2)
in the list. Select the new port and check that your TCP/IP and

I have an old Wallstreet that works fine for me. Unfortunately, its
portability is severely limited by a no-good battery and a lack of a
wireless card.
I'll worry about the battery later. For now: what is the best and/or

Can anyone tell me if there are any significant structural differences
between the 16-bit PC card cages found in pre-G3 'Books and the newer
32-bit CardBus cages? Kinda like to know if it's possible to transplant
a CardBus cage from a Wallstreet into a 2400c.

Sigh; the wallstreet I use around the office has died. It was plugged
in and the next day, the battery was dead and it won't charge or
start. It's not the power adapter; I tested it and tried another...
What's the possible causes --- the power regulator board?
First thing to try is PMU
I just bought a new Lithium-Ion battery for my Wallstreet, and from
what research reading I've done on battery care this is how *I'll*
take care of mine:
1) I won't leave the battery in the 'Book while running on AC
adapter power. Apple recommends against this practice for Li-Ion's

Hi, gang. New to the list - just picked up a Series II Wallstreet 266.
It won't start up unless AC adapter's connected. It came with two BTI
batteries but neither one shows any charge lights when installed, and
there's no indication that they're charging. Red X through battery icon
in menu
